Insurance and self-pay options
Nutrition therapy may be covered by insurance depending on your plan and diagnosis. Self-pay nutrition therapy starts at $150 for an initial 60-minute visit and $65 for a 30-minute follow-up .
Coverage and pricing should be confirmed before your appointment. Root & Bloom specialty services may have separate pricing.
Medicaid
A referral is required for Medicaid billing. Please reach out to your physician and ask for a referral to be faxed to (806)216-6707.

Please note that the best practice is for you to reach out to your insurance and verify coverage for medical nutrition therapy. Most plans will provide preventative and medical coverage in some amount and several of our patient pay little to nothing to see us.
We work with you and your insurance company to get our services covered but any uncovered bills are the patient’s responsibility.
Medicare
Medicare will only cover for diabetes and chronic kidney disease - if you do not have either of these diagnoses, contact us for out of pocket pricing.
If you do have diabetes or chronic kidney disease, have your physician send a referral to (806)216-6707 or give us a call at (806)803-1558 and we can help obtain a referral!
