Welcome; Panhandle Nutrition Therapy

Updated: Mar 4

Nutrition, panhandle, therapy, dietitian

I am so glad that you are here!

As a registered dietitian and a mom of what was two under two (currently three and one), I know how crazy life is and I am excited you have taken the time to find my business. I have been practicing as a registered dietitian since 2017 and am honestly a bit of a nutrition nerd. You can likely find me taking a new course (Hello Fertility Nutrition coming May 2024!), reading a research article or browsing the grocery store for new products to try.

Mom, vegetables, dietitian, woman owned business

I have an overwhelming passion for pregnancy and pediatric nutrition, as these time frames set the tone for the rest of our lives. I have worked with the pediatric population from neonates through teenage hood in an inpatient hospital setting as well as outpatient appointments since 2018 and have spent seasons of time since then working with pregnant mothers as well. I have experience working with a multitude of different disease states and am very comfortable with infants, formula, breastfeeding, etc.

In starting Panhandle Nutrition Therapy, I aim to bring accessible resources to the Panhandle of Texas and beyond. I am licensed in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma (in the coming weeks), Kansas and Illinois and am able to practice in other states that do not require dietitian licensure (Oregon, California, Arizona, Colorado, Wisconsin, Michigan, Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut). I prefer traditional office visits but I do offer virtual to those outside of the area when insurance allows!

I practice in a health first mentality, meaning that your physical, mental and emotional health surrounding food is of top priority; sometimes this means weight loss, weight gain, etc. but the number on the scale is not the point (unless I’m working with your infant, then we will likely look at that number more often - but there is more to your baby than that number and their percentiles). The point is to find ways to meet your goals and increase your quality of life through knowledge, lifestyle changes and consistency.

Again, I am so grateful that you are here. I pray that this business can be a blessing to you, your friends, your family, to anyone that needs it. Let’s work together to meet your goals and make life a bit ‘healthier’ (whatever that actually means).
